Strong Man Mola (Sold?)

Strong Man Mola (Sold?)

This remarkable museum-quality hand-stitched mola starts with a man showing off his biceps. A wrestler, maybe? His trunks, with the letter A embroidered in front, would make sense for a wrestler. His pecs are a pair of shields, so there could be some military symbolism here.
He has baskets hanging from each arm. One contains three nalu (sharks) and the other two crabs and a nalu.
He is surrounded by a man, a woman, birds, and animals.
I find it interesting how the initial impression is of a strong, heavily muscled figure, but then you notice that the arms and legs are very thin. The negative spaces between the figure and the other elements bulk him up. This is a complex work, done by a brilliant artist.
